Application Process

Thank you for taking time to view information about our school on the website. Below are the steps to follow if you are interested in becoming a part of the PCCA family.

Campus Visit

We encourage you to call and schedule a campus tour with the Admissions Office at 407-313-PCCA. This will help you and your family become more familiar with all that PCCA has to offer. Prospective students are also welcome to shadow a current student for a day. The Admissions Office can make arrangements for such a visit.

Complete the application forms that are appropriate for the grade your student will be entering. If you are enrolling more than one student, complete one Full Application for the oldest student and a Sibling Application for each additional student.

Also provide the following items:

1. $100 non-refundable application fee
2. Copy of most current transcript (high school) or report card
3. Copy of most current achievement test scores or FCAT scores
4. Copy of student’s birth certificate

Submit the Student Recommendation Form(s) to the appropriate teacher(s). Additional letters of recommendation will be added to your file if you choose to request them. Please ask teachers to send letters directly to PCCA, Attention: Admissions, rather than delivering them personally.

Return the application to the Admissions Office.

Testing, Interview, and Consideration

  • All students will be scheduled for an interview and admissions exam.

  • Elementary School applicants (PreK through grade 5) will meet with the Elementary Principal for an individual interview and testing appointment. The Elementary Office will call your family to schedule this appointment upon receipt of the application.

  • Middle and High School applicants (grades 6 through 12) will be contacted to schedule their individual interview appointment and their admissions test date upon receipt of the application. (Students who took the SAT 10 during the previous school year are exempt from the testing, provided they submit a copy of their test results with the application.)

  • If additional testing is required, you will be notified. There may be an additional cost for testing above and beyond our standard tests mentioned above.
The Admissions Committee will consider the complete application and make an admission decision.

  • Notification of the student’s status will be given by mail.

Enrollment

To accept our offer of admission and enroll your child at PCCA, the Enrollment Fee will be due within two (2) weeks of an offer for admission. The Tuition Contract must also be returned with this fee.

If not received within two weeks, the spot will not be held, and possibly offered to a student in our wait pool.

Students are not enrolled until the Enrollment Fee is paid and parents have signed the Tuition Contract.

2010-2011 Admissions Calendar

PCCA is currently on a rolling admissions process and will continue taking applications throughout the year and will offer enrollment to qualified applicants as space is available.

The full application should be downloaded and printed. All pages must be turned in together to be considered a complete application and begin the testing and interview process.
