High School Sports

Boys Basketball: Our boys basketball team is led by Coach Mark Rickman and assisted by Coach Al Megargee who attained the state championship title for 2007! We provide the opportunity to try out for our varsity team and JV team. This is a program that demands a high level of commitment to being the best you are capable of being. Jason Shave coaches our JV team and does a fabulous job.

Girls Basketball: The girls Varsity basketball team is led by Coach Chris Cenicola. Will the girls be able to take another state championship crown? The 2007-2008 season is sure to be packed with "wins!"

Cheerleading: High School girls can try out for the Varsity Cheerleading squad. The squad will cheer at football and basketball games.

Volleyball: Coach Linda Schefstad anchors a solid volleyball program. You can tell as you walk in the gym of the rich tradition that Coach Schefstad has built. Coach Schefstad also offers camps during the summer for middle school students and up. The JV Volleyball team is proud to be coached by Renea Anderson.

Golf: PCCA Welcomes back Coach Pat Anthony as coach of our Golf team. The team advanced to the District Champship last year, thanks to the leadership of several returning players and the ambition of new players.

Cross Country: Coach Chris Cenicola (a PCCA Alumna) is returning for our second season of our boys and girls varsity cross country program. The teams will be running in 4 meets this year.

Baseball: PCCA is excited to have our Varsity baseball team coached by former Major League player Joe Oliver. Coach Oliver was the catcher for the Reds when they won the World Series and brings a great deal of knowledge to our program.

Softball: Coach Mark Ritchhart is our softball coach, and he brings a great deal encouragement and an emphasis on the fundamentals to the players. Our softball program plays their home games at our newly built softball field on campus! The girls will have their work cut out for them as they defend their two-time state championship titles. The 2008 season is sure to be an exciting one!

Tennis: Coach Linda Workman coaches our boys and girls teams which play at Ft. Gatlin. Coach Workman is a great instructor and role model for our players. We are very proud to have her as coach.
