Greetings
from the Athletic Director
Greetings
from the Pine Castle Christian Academy Athletic Department!
Our athletic program at PCCA is committed to excellence.
We strive to enter into battle with athletes who have
been properly trained and prepared. Commitment is what
brings a dream to reality, and at PCCA we are blessed
with players, parents, and coaches who give 100%!
The
Lord continues to bless our school and athletic deparment
in so many ways. It has been humbling to watch our booster
club double in size and contributions each of the past
four years I've been at PCCA. We have increased our top
giving levels this year in anticipation of a new gym
being built in the very near future. We are having strategic
planning meetings to set our course for action and value
your involvement in making this dream a reality.
Please
take some time to view some in-depth details about all
PCCA athletics on our brand new athletic website of www.pccaathletics.com
Go
Eagles!
In
Christ,
Coach Rickman A Bright Future
Ahead for PCCA Athletics
Pine
Castle’s future is so bright. In less
than five years, head basketball coach and Athletic
Director Mark Rickman has added great new athletic programs
( a 4-on-4 youth basketball league open to
the Orlando community, ACYS Soccer, middle school cross
country, and junior high baseball, and most recently
football). A 500 square-foot weight room was added to
PCCA’s
campus last year for all athletic teams to use. However,
far
beyond the
accolades
of a winning season, added programs, and new facilities
is the impact that Coach Rickman and the entire staff
at the Academy is making on the spiritual lives of the
students – and
that is what makes PCCA a truly exciting place.
Back
to top VISION
The
vision of the athletic department is to exemplify Christ
by being excellent in all we attempt to do. Our goals
are to first have coaches coaching our athletes who love
Jesus Christ and have a passion to follow him and inspire
our athletes to do the same. Secondly, we want our athletes
to be our leaders on campus. Jesus lead by being a humble
servant and thinking about others needs first and we
want our athletes to do the same. Third, we want our
athletes to strive to be the best students they can be
and not settle for less than their best effort. And last,
we want to properly train our athletes with the best
equipment possible and offer the finest facilities we
can to the boys and girls who are wearing PCCA Eagle
on their chests. To do this, our booster club and everyone
must come together to be able to provide our athletes
what they deserve.
