2008-2009 Discounts
- Pine
Castle United Methodist Church Members who have completed
requirements for membership more than six months prior
to enrollment will receive a discount for each enrolled
child. Students enrolled in Grades K-12 receive a $700.00
discount; K3 or K4 -3 Day a $200.00 discount; K3 or
K4
- 5 Day a $300.00 discount.
- Families
whose primary source of income is in the Ministry field
will receive a $900 tuition discount per child.
- Families who make a non-scholarship, on-time payment in full (prior to June 1, 2008) will receive $100 discount per child.
2008-2009 Miscellaneous Fees
- For
new students enrolling at PCCA, a one-time, non-refundable $325 enrollment
fee is charged. This is paid with the submission of a signed tuition contract.
- A
$100 non-refundable Application Fee applies to
new applicants to
PCCA or for current families reenrolling after January
20, 2008. This fee should be submitted with the application
form.
- Seniors
(12th grade) submit a $200 Senior Fee to cover the
costs of graduation announcements, etc.
- International students pay a $300 International Student Fee and also a $6,000 host family fee.
- Billing Fee - a billing fee of $50 (per family account) is charged for the monthly payment option. This amount is added to your tuition balance and spread out over the payment options you choose.
Financial Aid
- A
significant portion of our budget is allocated for financial
aid, and we encourage all interested families to apply.
Typical aid recipients exhibit a need based on income,
budget, and family size.
- Individual
awards made for tuition assistance varies for each
family, and is made based on a family's financial situation.
Other factors may apply such as space in the class,
siblings attending, etc.
- All
applicants must complete the School and Student Service
for Financial Aid form,
the Assistance and Questionnaire form, and submit a copy of
their previous years' IRS 1040 form to the Tuition Assistance
Committee.

Outside
Scholarships
- The
McKay Scholarship is awarded to students with a learning
disability and is based upon the matrix of services allocated
to students according to their need. Parents must file
an intent to participate in a private school's program
citing their dissatisfaction with the services provided
their child is receiving in public school. The
amount of the award for McKay varies per student. For

- Founded
in 1995, Children First-Central Florida awards scholarships
to low-income students in Central Florida. Scholarships
of up to $3,750.00 are awarded to those who qualify.

Annual
Giving and Other Financial Support
Tuition
covers operating costs at PCCA, but significant program
improvements require additional funds. The Beacon Foundation,
a 501(c)(3) exists to enhance the efforts of Pine Castle
Christian Academy and Pine Castle United Methodist Church.
Gifts made to The Beacon Foundation may be designated for
specific or general use at PCCA. The Foundation encourages
all members of the school community--parents, alumni, and
friends--to join with them in the effort to assure the School's
continued position of leadership through annual, capital,
and planned gifts that adequately reflect individual interest
