Middle School Students

The middle years between childhood and early adulthood are exciting and pivotal in every child’s life. They call for a unique program of education that addresses each child’s developmental needs and that also provides the academic foundation for success in high school.

At PCCA, middle school teachers work in grade-level teams that are designed to insure uniformity in academic goals and procedures, variety in teaching methods, and close communication with parents. We spend time helping students learn organizational and study skills, and we understand that middle schoolers will not do well academically unless they have healthy social relationships and an appreciation for who God made them to be.

In addition to the core curriculum (math, science, language arts, grammar, social studies & Bible), middle school students are enriched through art, music, drama, computers, and physical education. They also have the opportunity to participate in band. Athletically, PCCA Middle School offers basketball, boys golf, tennis, cheerleading, track, soccer, cross-country, boys baseball, flag football for 6th, tackle football for 6th - 8th, girls softball and volleyball

To foster spiritual growth in our students, PCCA provides a Mentor Program for our Middle Schoolers. Students gather bi-weekly in a small group with an adult mentor to discuss practical issues relating to their lives, guided and equipped with scripture and love.
