Elementary
School
A dedicated and nurturing faculty in the
elementary school provides a creative and challenging environment
where students develop their academic and social skills.
Teachers build on the natural curiosity that children bring
to school, and the curriculum is structured to meet different
learning styles with multi-sensory activities.
We intertwine grade-appropriate spiritual content throughout
the elementary school curriculum, which is supported by
a specific chapel emphasis each week. One of our top priorities
is to help all our children learn their individual value
to God and to discover and appreciate their unique personality,
strengths, and talents.
Children learn fundamental skills in reading, language
arts, mathematics, social studies, science, computer, art,
music, band, and physical education. Upper elementary students
can also participate in a competitive sports program. Our
teachers inspire children to be creative, to engage themselves
fully in all activities, and to view learning as a fun,
lifelong endeavor. PCCA offers an orderly yet flexible
atmosphere where students are safe, happy, academically
prepared, and challenged.
