Guidance

Greetings
from the Guidance office at PCCA!
Here
at the Academy we believe that it is important to provide
all of our students with the preparation and information
necessary for life after high school. Whether they choose
to attend a four-year college or pursue other career interests,
our main goal is to ensure that they are equipped to
make
wise choices and intelligent decisions in and out of school.
If you have any questions about how we prepare our students
for college and beyond please contact
our guidance office at 407-438-2714.

The
PSAT/NMSQT is administered to all 10th and 11th graders
and freshmen that have completed Algebra I. This
test is vitally important to college readiness and is
the test that the National Merit Scholarship Program
uses for
admittance into its competitive programs. Our faculty
also use the scores from this test to place students
in appropriate
classes for the next school year. Results of the PSAT are
received and distributed to families in December.
